Reasi is a beautiful town in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir situated near the bank of river Chenab. World’s largest bridge i.e. Chenab Bridge is going to be completed in Reasi. The bridge has been designed by the consultants from Germany and Finland. This bridge have sensors to check wind speed and also monitoring and warning systems at both the ends. The bridge is being constructed at 359 m above Chenab river. It will be 35 m higher than the Eiffel Tower.

Vaishno Devi

Vaishno Devi is a very famous temple in Katra  situated at Trikuta Mountains. Many devotees from different parts of India visited this religious place. It is one of the most pilgrimage centers of India. Every year millions of people visit this place to get the darshana of Goddess  Mahasaraswati, Mahalaxmi, Mahakali which symbolises the creative, preservative and destructive characters of God. Vaishno Devi was formed from the combined forces of Mahasaraswati, Mahalaxmi and Mahakali. Pilgrims have to cover the distance of 15 km by foot, by auto or by air to get the darshana of Mata Vaishno Devi.

Shiv Khori

Shiv Khori is situated nearly 4 km from the base camp Ransoo in district Reasi. Shiv Khori is a very famous shrines of Hindu dedicated to Lord Shiva. There is a 200 m long natural and beautiful cave of Lord Shiva. The cave is in the shape of Lord Shiva’s Damru which means that the cave is wider at the outer ends and narrow from middle. The natural milky water is dripping from the top to the Shivling which symbolizes the eternity of river Ganga. You can complete the yatra of Shiv Khori by foot or by horse. This place has a great importance among Hindus.

Sula Park

Sula Park is the best place to visit with your family and friends for a picnic. People visit here mostly in summers to take a bath in sula park. There is a Shiv kund, Radha Krishna temple and a Hanuman temple. One can experience the pleasant weather, cool swimming pool with small fishes, ping-pongs for children, mesmerizing park and many more.

Baba Dhansar

Baba Dhansar is a beautiful holy place situated approximately 10 km from Reasi. There is a temple of Lord Shiva and Karua Jheel. Some people call Karua Jheel as a wish granting lake. There are a number of waterfalls and a naturally formed Lingam of Lord Shiva on the top of which milky water droplets falls continuously  throughout the year. There is a mythological belief that when Lord Shiva went to the cave of Amarnath to tell the story of his immorality to Mata Parvati, he left his Sesh nag snake at Anantnag and Sesh nag came in the form of human as Vasudev. One of the sons of Vasudev was Dhansar who was a saintly person. That is why the place has been named after him.

Siar Waterfall

Siar waterfall is a beautiful waterfall near Siar Baba temple situated in Kotla village of district Reasi. The waterfall is 400 feet high and it is one of the best place for tourists to visit in Reasi. There is a small temple of Baba Siar besides this waterfall.
